Find it. Circle it. Collect the stars.
Hoot Spot is a cheerful spot-the-difference game starring Hoot, a detective owl. Two almost identical scenes, a few hidden changes and one magnifying glass: players tap the differences, earn up to three stars per level and travel through five colourful worlds. You get a finished game with menus, progress, sound and music, plus the complete source code to reskin, translate and publish as your own.

A guided start and a lot of juice
The first level teaches the game: Hoot explains every step in speech bubbles while a pointing hand shows where to tap, then the player is on their own. Found differences get animated circles and sparkles, mistakes are soft, and a victory ceremony and a cartoon iris transition tie the screens together.

5 worlds, 50 levels
Park, Beach, Farm, Snow and Candy: ten levels each, with their own scenes, props, music and a background that changes with the world. The level screen shows one world at a time with arrows on both sides.

Helpers when you need them
A magnifying glass finds one difference, a light bulb shows where to look and the owl's eye peeks at all of them. Helpers are limited, so using them is a choice.

14 languages, switched live
English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The language is detected from the device and can be changed in the settings without reloading; each language is a single small file, so adding another takes minutes.

Yours to customise
Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript: upload the game folder to any static host and it runs. The full editable source, an automated level test and an illustrated English, Portuguese and Spanish guide are included, and everything (levels, scenes, art, sounds, texts and colours) lives in separate, readable files. A tap-to-start screen unlocks audio on iPhone and iPad.
