Colors that start with every letter, A to Z
Stuck on J under Color? Polarzinho, who only comes in black and white, put together the A to Z cheat sheet.

I am black and white. Literally. Maybe that's why the Color column has always been my nemesis in Stop. The letter J comes up, everyone stares at the ceiling, and I start wondering whether "jaguar" is a color. It isn't. So I built this cheat sheet of colors that start with every letter, A to Z.
For each letter, the colors nobody argues about come first, followed by the fancier ones for when you want a unique answer. For the hard letters I'll be honest: there aren't many, and I'll show you how to get out alive.
How to use this list in Stop
Color is one of the classic categories of the categories word game. In Polar Games' online Stop you can pick a ready-made theme or build your own category list and add Color to it.
A detail that helps you study: Stop! only draws letters that have known answers in the round's categories, and the room setup screen shows which letters are possible. A letter never repeats in the same match.

PolarzinhoThe game tells you which letters can come up before you start. I use that list to decide what to study. And to complain less.

Do compound colors count? The classic scoring arguments
Does lime green count for L or for G?
Under the most common rule, the first word counts, so lime green goes under L. Agree on it before the first round.
Do fruit and gem names count as colors?
They do when they are real color names: peach, salmon, emerald and sapphire all show up in paint and clothing catalogs.
Are black and white colors?
In Stop, always. And I thank you.
