Puzzle games online: 4 to play in your browser
Puzzle games you can play right in your browser, nothing to install: block placing, a toy-car traffic jam, pickaxe merging and fruit in a blender.

Puzzle games are my favorite, because they do not depend on panda reflexes. They depend on thinking, and I think very well, especially while eating bamboo.
Here are 4 Polar Games puzzles that run right in your browser, each with a different kind of challenge, plus a few tips to go further.

Types of puzzle games
- Block placing: find the right spot for each piece and clear lines.
- Order logic: work out the right sequence to clear the way.
- Merge: combine matching pieces to make a bigger one.
- Physics: predict how pieces will bounce and fall.
Gridspark: block placing
An 8 × 8 board and one question every turn: where does this piece fit? Complete rows and columns to clear space and score, collect sparks to charge ZAP, and when it is ready, blast a whole cross off the board.

PolarzinhoSaving ZAP for the tight spot is the difference between a record and "one more try".
Beep Out!: toy-car traffic jam
A parking lot full of toy cars, each pointing in a direction. Free each one through an open lane in the right order. Later, passengers line up by color and spots are limited, so every car you send out has to be the right one.

PolarzinhoI am great at traffic jams. In real life I just cause them.
Deepforge: physics pickaxe merging
Merge matching pickaxes on the workbench, choose their positions and send your team into a physics-driven mine, bouncing through rock, ore and crystal. There are 16 pickaxe levels, 30 chambers and six biomes.

PolarzinhoMerging two picks and watching the new one appear is my kind of magic.
Plop! Fruit Merge: fruit in a blender
Every fruit you drop changes the pile. Join two of the same fruit to make a bigger one, chain merges into combos and fill the juice meter. When the blender is about to overflow, press BLEND to crush the smaller fruits and buy one more round.

PolarzinhoI asked Plop for a bamboo fruit. There is none. I made a mango instead.
Puzzle tips
- Look at the next piece before placing the current one.
- Keep open space: a full board is a lost board.
- In merge games, keep small pieces on one side.
- Save special powers for tight spots.
- Stuck? Take a break. The answer often shows up afterwards.
