Brain Mischief: little puzzles, sideways answers
Brain Mischief is an HTML5 lateral-thinking puzzle game template with full, editable source code. It has thirty short scenes in a cartoon neighbourhood. Each scene asks for one simple thing, such as waking a puppy without a sound, and hides an answer that is rarely the first thing a player tries. The game folder is already built: upload it to any static host and it runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones.

30 lateral-thinking puzzles in a cartoon neighbourhood
Every level is one scene with one short goal. Wake the puppy gently, find the empty cup with the lamp, work out what is blocking the sun, put one apple in each basket, get a sailboat under a low bridge. Level 30 is a surprise party. Levels open one by one: a level unlocks when the previous one is solved or skipped, and finished levels can be replayed.
Tap, drag and two free hints
Players tap, drag, hold or swipe the objects on the scene with a mouse or a touch screen. A wrong try gets a gentle message, never a penalty. Every level has two free hints: the first points the player's attention the right way, the second explains the move. Restart resets the scene and Skip moves on to the next puzzle. Drag puzzles need a pointer, so full keyboard-only play is not supported.

Stickers, stars and saved progress
Each solved level adds a sticker to the album, and solving a level without hints earns a star. Solved levels, skips, hints and settings are saved in the player's browser on that device; saves do not sync between devices. Reset progress clears the levels and keeps the settings.

14 languages, sound and reduced motion
The interface is available in English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. The game follows the browser language when it can, and players can change it in Settings, next to a Sound switch and a Reduced motion option. Sound is synthesised with Web Audio after the first tap; there is no recorded narration.
Ready-to-host HTML5 game with readable TypeScript source
Upload the contents of the built game/ folder to any subfolder of any domain with static HTTP(S) hosting. Installing or playing needs no database, PHP or Node.js. The source/ folder holds the editable TypeScript and CSS, WebP artwork, unit tests and pointer-test scripts. Rebuilding needs Node.js 22.13+ and npm. An illustrated offline buyer guide in 14 languages covers installation, settings, saves and updates.

Licence and support in short
One purchase gives a perpetual, non-exclusive licence for one end product, yours or one client's. Players may play it free or through advertising monetisation. You can change the code, art and audio inside your product, but not resell or redistribute the template, source or assets on their own. Third-party notices stay with the product. Support covers installing and using the files and fixing reproducible defects: 6 months from purchase, or 12 with the extension. The licence does not end with support.
