Golazo: line it up, let it fly.
Golazo is an HTML5 tabletop football game template with full source code. Players pull a button-style player back, aim and let go, and physics does the rest. The edition has 50 selectable national teams, four ways to play, 14 interface languages, recorded match commentary and a ready-to-host game folder with readable JavaScript that needs no build step.

Four ways to play
Play a friendly against the CPU, take a team through an eight-team Cup bracket, learn the shots in Practice, or pass one phone or tablet between two players. Matches can be played to three goals or for two, three or five minutes, with Easy, Normal and Pro CPU difficulty, four formations, a turn timer, an aiming guide and slow-motion goal replays.
50 national teams
Pick from 50 national teams, each with its own flag and home and away colours. Team names and flags are game selections only: there are no federation crests or official kits, and the game claims no tournament or federation affiliation.

Physics-based flick shots
Pull a player back and release to shoot. Rebounds, deflections and saves come from the physics, so every match plays out differently. Hitting the ball charges Fire, which you can activate to power up your next shot. Mouse and touch are both supported.

14 languages and recorded commentary
The interface is translated into 14 languages and detects the browser language automatically. Match commentary is recorded in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish, with English commentary for the other languages. Music, effects and narrator have separate volume controls.

Your game, your hosting
Upload the contents of the game folder to static HTTP(S) hosting and open index.html. No database, PHP, account, server or Node.js runtime is needed, and normal play makes no requests to ranking, advertising or payment services. Artwork, audio and fonts are all local. The package includes the editable source and an illustrated offline guide in 14 languages.

What this edition does not include
Native apps, hosting and custom development are not included, nor are online multiplayer, an online ranking, real-money purchases or an advertising SDK. Two-player mode is local on one device, and the online mode of the website version was removed, so no server setup is needed.
Who this template is for
Site and portal owners who want a football game ready for match days, freelancers and studios who need a base for a client's branded game, and developers who want to learn from readable JavaScript with a small physics game loop.
Customise it
Change defaults such as language, goals to win, match length, turn time and the stadium board text in config.js. Edit teams and colours in teams.js and texts in the language dictionaries. The source is plain JavaScript, HTML and CSS: edit it with any text editor, keep the script order in index.html and copy the changed files to your hosted game folder.
