Hold. Pull back. Let go. Climb.
Monkey Up is a portrait slingshot climber: the monkey hangs from a wooden peg, you pull back to aim, and letting go launches it toward the next one. Every peg caught, or every landing, returns one extra shot that can be used mid-air, so a missed angle is rarely the end of a climb.
Five worlds carry the tree upward, each with its own look and dangers: a hollow trunk, a waterfall-fed branch, overgrown ruins, a stormy canopy, and a firefly-lit night. Crumbling pegs, saws, fire flowers, water that slowly rises and a swaying rope peg all stand in for enemies: the tree itself is the obstacle. Checkpoint flags along the way mark how far a fall can set you back.
How to play Monkey Up
- Touch and hold the monkey to aim; drag back like a slingshot.
- Let go to launch toward the highlighted peg.
- While airborne, pull and release once more for an extra boost.
- Reach the Golden Bunch at the top of the stage to finish it.
Modes: Story: 5 worlds, 55 stages · Endless Climb, with a Daily Climb seed
- One stretch, one shot
Hold, pull back, let go: the whole game lives in how far you pull and when you release, plus one saving shot in the air.
- 55 stages, 5 worlds
Hollow Trunk, Branch Waterfall, Canopy Ruins, Stormy Treetop and Firefly Night, each ending in a harder challenge stage.
- Three stars, golden bananas
