A colourful HTML5 trivia game
This is an HTML5 trivia quiz game template with full React and TypeScript source code and an optional PHP leaderboard. Players meet Lara and a cast of animal mascots in a fast quiz with about 1,000 questions per language in English, Portuguese and Spanish, daily challenges and collectible stickers. The game folder is ready to upload to any static web host: no Node.js server, database or account is needed to play.
A quiz with personality
Spin the prize globe, pick a category and beat the critter opponents. Seven categories, each with its own mascot: Planet, Science, History, Sports, Screens, Music and Our Land. Whoever is in last place picks the next category.

Five kinds of question
Multiple choice, true or false and "estimate the number" questions, plus sound and shadow questions where players name the instrument, the animal sound or the silhouette. Questions come in three difficulty levels, and each match draws a new selection.
Three languages
On the first visit the player picks English, Português or Español and can change it any time in Settings. The interface, the questions and the host voice all follow the chosen language. The host recordings sit in one folder and can be deleted without affecting anything else.

Solo play against three bots
Choose five, ten or fifteen rounds. Each question has 15 seconds, faster answers score more, and the last round is always worth double.

Daily challenge and missions
A fresh daily challenge with seven questions, one from each category, and one attempt per day. Streaks and three daily missions give players a reason to come back.

Collect stickers and level up
Collect 28 animal stickers in the critter album, four per category, and progress through XP, levels and category crowns. Progress is saved in the player's browser: no account, no cookies, no cloud sync.

Easy to install, flexible to customise
- Upload the contents of the game folder (not the source folder) to your web hosting and open the address.
- Responsive for mobile and desktop browsers, with touch and mouse controls.
- Installable PWA that also works offline after the first visit; HTTPS is required for these features.
- Optional shared PHP leaderboard, off by default, with Today, Week, Month and All time boards. The on-device Hall of fame works without PHP.
- Optional ad settings, off by default. Ad network accounts and approval are your responsibility.
- Editable React, TypeScript and Vite source with unit tests. Node.js is needed only to rebuild.
Who this template is for
Portal and site owners who want a quiz for their audience, studios delivering a branded trivia game to a client, and developers who want a readable React and TypeScript project to learn from. One licence covers one end product, yours or one client's.
Customise it
Questions live in one JSON file per language; add an entry with a unique ID and rebuild. Categories, colours and mascots, rounds and timing, interface texts, the "Zabum!" logo text, icons, music and sounds each have their own place in the source. A new language needs its own interface file and question bank, and the host would have no recordings in it.

Licence and support in short
A perpetual, non-exclusive licence for one end product. Players can access it free of charge or through advertising monetisation. Customisation, hosting and SDK or portal integration are separate services, quoted first.
