Solitaire Links: link words, discover worlds
Solitaire Links is an HTML5 word-association solitaire game template with readable source code. Players sort word cards into their categories, solitaire style, clear the table, earn stars and travel across twelve themed worlds with Linky the octopus. A daily challenge adds a new table each day, and the game folder is ready to upload to any static host. No PHP or database is needed to play.

Twelve themed worlds and endless levels
A level map leads from the Velvet Lounge, the first world, to the Ocean Pier and beyond. Every world has 10 levels, each level awards stars and combos reward good play. After world 12 the artwork and music repeat, but the levels keep coming.

Match words to their categories
Gold category cards open a spot at the top of the table, and every word that belongs to that category goes on top of it until the set is complete. In the columns, cards of the same category stack in any order and move together. Draw from the deck when needed, but each action uses one of the level's moves. The game has 90 categories, among them fruits, animals and colours. Hint, Undo and Joker help; Restart replays the level.

Linky's closet with 60 cosmetic items
Linky is a friendly octopus who teaches the first levels and cheers your combos. Its closet holds 60 cosmetic items: hats, cards, sparkles, dances and faces. Items unlock through progression or with coins earned in play; there is no real-money checkout.

14 interface languages and recorded voices
The game has 14 interface languages. Linky's recorded voice is in English, Portuguese and Spanish only. Settings cover music, sound, voice, vibration, Linky, large text and a calm mode that reduces motion.

Daily gifts and daily challenges
Each day brings a gift and a new challenge table, with a monthly calendar and trophies.

Ads are disabled and no provider is connected. game/js/ads.js defines hooks for interstitial and rewarded ads at points such as level end, double reward and extra moves. You supply your own approved SDK and consent handling.

Who this template is for
- Word-game and casual portal owners who want a finished card game with progression.
- Publishers who plan to connect their own ad provider through the supplied hooks.
- Freelancers, studios and developers who need a branded card game or want to read plain JavaScript.
Customise it
Edit game/solitaire.config.js directly: storageKey keeps each copy's saved progress separate, and ads.enabled turns on your own provider. Translations live in source/i18n/ and are regenerated with node tools/gen-langs.cjs. Changing the title art, icons, rules or text means editing the optional source edition (see the guide).
